In September 2010 CCT will present a production of Annie Junior, unlike any other ever staged in DeKalb County.
The show will feature all of the usual trappings of a CCT offering - great music, beautiful costumes, professional sets, dazzling dance numbers -- but it will be different in one very important way: all of the roles in the show will be filled by children and young adults with disabilities or special needs, assisted by mentors of similar age.
The show will be our initial effort at duplicating the success of the Peoria Based organization know as The Penguin Project. We are proud to have been selected as the first community theatre group to partner with this amazing organization and we look forward to building upon the success that their program has enjoyed for the last six years.
